“Aidan was an excellent teacher, I’d never thrown an axe before so was a little wary but he put me right at ease! Very motivational and complimentary even when the axes bounced out. Our family had a fab time! Thank you so much!”

“We had a date night at Boom Battle Bar. It was a little disappointing. The staff were friendly and polite but they were not interested in making the place an experience. We were shown the axe throwing and enjoyed this a lot but it was only two lanes so quite isolated. we then did the crazy golf. We were told it was self explanatory and we should be fine. We were then left alone. It was fairly simple but it felt weird playing in a night club vibe. We then came across two faulty holes so a 9 hole game became a 7 hole game which we completed in less than 20mins. There were a few different games that seemed to be very popular like the electric darts. The space was big but the side machines were also out of order. The seating looked like a food court but was empty and staff had a football match playing on the big screen. It felt like a club vibe but it didn't have the energy and the door staff seemed unnecessary. It is a good place for groups. I think you need to bring the energy with you to really get the best out of the experience.”

“Went on a quiet Sunday evening, so not much atmosphere. I thought the place was really good, lots of things to do from crazy golf, axe throwing, table tennis, darts, shuffleboard……….. on the food side, I was disappointed that burgers were not being offered only loaded potato tots and fries. They were nice although heavy on the salt! Staff were very good although I would say the chap who oversaw the axe throwing needs to lighten up a bit and remember we were their for a bit of fun and not auditioning for the olympics ”

“I had a great time at Boom Battle Bar in Swindon. The place was fun with lots of games to play and a cool atmosphere. The staff were really nice, especially Jasmin. She was super duper friendly and cute and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a fun night out with friends, I definitely recommend this place!”

“Went here on the off chance that we could do an activity on Saturday night for my Daughters 22nd Birthday. We were offered darts but we couldn't have a full hour as someone had booked it at 10pm so we only really got 45 minutes but still paid full price. When our time was up no one appeared to take over meaning we could of had the full hour. The darts board didn't register anything on the 5 zone either which was annoying. We had fun though in our 45 minutes and there were plenty of different darts games to choose from. The ladies toilets by the darts were disgusting, the floors were flooded and the doors didn't even shut. To get drinks took ages so we had to wait for each person to get back from the bar for their go on the darts. I think more bar staff are needed as it wasn't overly busy but not enough staff to serve everyone quickly which you need when you're on a time limit with your games and we would of bought more drinks too if we could of got served quicker. Could be a whole lot better with a few tweaks. We did not have food. Had a fun night, though. Thanks.”
